Bachelor's Degree in Holistic Science
The Bachelor of Science degree in “Holistic Disciplines” focuses on the integrated study of health and wellness, considering the individual as a whole: physical, mental, emotional and spiritual. This type of academic program includes subjects that explore alternative medicine, nutrition, psychology, natural and complementary therapies, as well as mindfulness and wellness practices such as meditation, mindfulness, ayurveda, yoga, tai chi and more.
Students learn how different holistic disciplines can be integrated into conventional health and wellness practices to promote balanced living and a preventive approach to health. The curriculum may also cover the scientific basis of these practices as well as their practical application.
Skills acquired may include holistic client assessment, planning and implementation of holistic interventions, communication and counseling in the field of wellness, and a deep understanding of how environment, lifestyle, and inner well-being influence each other.

Graduates in Holistic Disciplines could find career opportunities in wellness centers, integrative medicine clinics, treatment facilities, health-focused nonprofit organizations, or they could choose to start their own private practice. In addition, they could be employed in fields related to health and wellness promotion, research, education, or counseling.
The degree could also provide a solid foundation for postgraduate studies in related fields, such as integrative medicine, health psychology, or wellness management.
