Bachelor's Degree in Strategic Defense and Security Sciences
The Interdepartmental Bachelor's Degree in Strategic Defense and Security Sciences offers a multidisciplinary cultural preparation (historical-politological, socio-anthropological, legal, technical-scientific, economic-managerial), to operate with management and coordination assignments (political-relational, administrative-managerial, logistical) in sectors largely related to the new dimensions and profiles, including civilian, assumed by security issues in the areas: of internal and external security of the protection of the national territory and its tangible and intangible assets, of the protection of the strategic and economic-financial interests of the Italian state and the European Union, of the management and direction of complex organized systems (also in sectors not specifically related to security).
Modules and content
The training of graduates in Strategic Defense and Security Sciences will aim to combine a solid basic education with knowledge, skills and competencies developed through teachings and activities that place them in contact with structures and organizations called upon to operate in the areas of defense, security, territorial protection and human rights.
The degree course responds to the need to create, in the civilian sphere, professionals with a marked awareness and knowledge of the technical, legal, historical-political, social, anthropological and economic aspects pertaining to the sphere of security in the current international scenario.
