Academy in Screenwriting and Creative Writing
This course offers an introduction to what are the fundamentals of screenwriting and also narrative writing, specifically addressing the methodologies of writing for the film medium, dwelling in particular on what are the tricks to make a written text work best to be transported to images, or for ad Hoc writing for a publication.
Modules and content
At the end of the course the student will bè able to write and understand a screenplay complete, being able to recognize the basic elements involved in writing a feature film, short film, and pilot episode of a television series

Admission requirements, examinations and final test
Applicants possessing a High School Diploma and a Bachelor's Degree or a Master's Degree, Master's Degree, or Old Degree may apply. In the absence of the required qualifications, admission on dossier is possible, based on an evaluation of the qualifications obtained and the experience acquired, as well as the skills developed within the framework of professional activity.
Lectures will be delivered at the discretion of the Lecturer through term papers, commentaries, specialized manuals, handouts or lectures via live streaming platform. Evaluation is expressed in thirtieths.
The final examination consists of a written paper.
Program
Consolidate understanding and ability of the text from a narrative point of view;
Consolidate the ability to focus on an idea and theme;
To know the main models of script construction;
Know the division into three acts;
Identify the theme, structure, turning points and arc of character transformation;
Identify the technical features that belong to the writing of the individual genre; film;
Know how to create dialogue inherent to the genre;
Know how to write the treatment of a feature film;
Know how to write a technical screenplay with formal mastery;
Know how to use at least one screenplay writing software;
Mastering technical terminology;
Conceptualize writing for serial television;
Conceptualize writing for fiction as well.
