Ph.D. in Psychology and Social Neuroscience
The Ph.D. from UniCampus HETG in Psychology and Social Neuroscience is designed to bring together within it the multidisciplinary research branch of Psychological Sciences aimed at the exploration of human personality in social, educational and clinical settings, combining it with that of neuroscientific research in cognitive, behavioral and social proceeding in parallel in the study activity by traversing both the entire development of a human being taken under standard conditions and by analyzing internal and external events that may affect behavior and cognitive faculties in relation to neurophysiological alterations resulting from traumatic physical events or biochemical alterations of various kinds, and is aimed primarily - but not exclusively - at all those with a Master's Degree in Psychological Sciences who wish to deepen their knowledge of the physiological aspects underlying human cognitive and behavioral activities.
Ph.D. students take advanced, cutting-edge multidisciplinary courses of study drawing from several disciplines closely related to those of the Psychological Sciences and Biological Sciences such as Cognitive Psychology, Developmental Biology, Social Psychology, Cell Biology, Molecular Biology Biochemistry, Developmental Age Psychology, and other scientific disciplines, participate in research projects, interactive seminars, thematic symposia, cross-cultural exchanges with other international research centers, and present their work to Lecturers, as well as attend research seminars and conferences of an international nature.

Ideal students for this Ph.D. possess a strong understanding of the fundamental role of neurophysiological activities in the manifestation of human behavior at the affective, cognitive, cultural and social levels.
