It has been studied that a learning is solidly and durably constituted in each child only if it springs from and is situated in a life process where everyone has an active role, specifically a context in which:

- each child is welcomed as a "whole person" with all its many aspects (emotional, character, cognitive, social);

- each child has concrete opportunities to have multiple experiences of an emotional, social,

cognitive, bodily;

- all positive aspects and abilities are sought and valued in each child, even in cases of disabilities, and there is no focus only on what is not working;

- all children are involved in a network of meaningful social-affective relationships with different people who play different roles in the functioning of the school community;

- everyone has the opportunity to play an active role in the multiple community activities and to contribute to their conduct and improvement; learning activities are proposed in an integrated and functional way with the children's concrete life experience: they take their cue from the children's multiple experiences, are developed through everyone's contribution, and are reused, if possible, for the raising of the children's level of participation in the functioning of the community.

This requires teachers who have a deep understanding of the concept of education as integral and harmonious development of personality, so that they can truly activate individualized and contextualized learning paths that are coherent and functional to the educational and psycho-pedagogical needs of each child.

The training in question wishes to be a valuable tool, a theoretical and practical support able to "look" at today's children with attentive eyes and a heart renewed by the educational passion that should distinguish every educator.
